From Vision to Practice

Piktogram Studio was founded on the belief that architecture and programming are two languages telling the same story. What began as sketches and lines of code has grown into a studio where buildings, software, and intelligent systems are designed side by side.

In our early projects, we focused on clarity: architecture that respected legal frameworks and community needs, and software that solved real problems with elegance. Over time, we discovered that the true strength of our work lies in integration. A building is not just concrete and glass; it’s data, processes, and long‑term management. A platform is not just code; it’s structure, usability, and continuity.

That realization led us to embrace BIM, Facility Management, and AI as natural extensions of our practice. Today, our story is about weaving these elements together — designing spaces that think, systems that adapt, and solutions that endure.

The Founders and Leadership

  • Bojan Mitrović — architect by education, programmer by passion. He wrote his first program on a C64 before the age of 10, and his first commercial software before turning 20. With over 25 years of experience in programming, Bojan bridges the worlds of design and code, ensuring that architecture and software evolve together.
  • Vladimir Obradović — architect, perfectionist in creative design, and award‑winning author. Since co‑founding the studio in 2014, his illustrations and designs have become part of everyday life, recognized for their precision and artistry.
  • Ana Stevanović Mitrović — architect and director of Piktogram Studio since its founding. She began her career in a small bureau, co‑authoring numerous projects across the country. Her path included real estate valuation, design coordination on the Ada Bridge, and later, as chief architect of Piktogram Studio, she authored many buildings, reconstructions, and adaptations — often tied to historically significant sites and structures in Belgrade and Serbia.
  • Jelena Cvijić — economist, product and project manager. With long‑standing experience as an economist and auditor, she brings deep expertise in financial and economic aspects of projects. At the same time, she is a senior PHP developer with over 10 years of experience in software development, particularly in education and facility management solutions. Jelena’s dual background ensures that our projects are not only technically sound but strategically aligned with economic realities.

Core Team

  • Mirjana Stanković — senior designer and artist with extensive experience in digital products, user interfaces, and visual identities. Her portfolio includes numerous design projects and exhibitions, recognized for contemporary, functional, and aesthetically distinctive solutions.
  • Milan Dabić — senior software developer with long‑standing experience across backend systems, databases, and user applications. As one of the most seasoned members of the team, Milan ensures stability, scalability, and technical excellence in every project.
  • Lazar Ika — programmer with strong analytical skills and client‑focused communication, dedicated to solving problems creatively and thoroughly.
  • Ljubica Stanković — QA specialist, combining experience and intuition to ensure flawless user experiences through meticulous testing.
  • Dušica Omasta — office manager, skilled in navigating procurement and administrative processes, turning complex requirements into clear and reliable outcomes.
  • Todor Filipović — programmer, shaping backend systems and automated workflows, while developing frontend components for complete and intuitive solutions.

Beyond our core team, we collaborate with a trusted network of professionals from related fields. This includes experts in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Hydrotechnics, Civil Engineering, Surveying, Structural Engineering, and Urban Planning.
